We are a specialised pest control company committed to finding solutions for all your pest control problems. At Pinnacle Hygiene and Pest Control Services, we focus on commercial pest control. With many years of experience under our belts, we understand pest behaviours and therefore know the best way to exterminate them.
1. Soil Poisoning
We offer an effective soil poisoning solution:
Pre-Construction Soil Poisoning treatments.
Post-Construction Soil Poisoning treatments.
There are two types of Soil Poisoning
A. Repellent – Repellent termiticides create a treated zone around a house that is toxic. Termites avoid the soil treated with this repellent termiticides. This type of soil poisoning is most common in pre-construction.
B. Non-Repellent – When this type of termiticide is used, the insects are unable to detect it and, therefore, do not avoid the area. The termites then make contact with the active ingredient, which results in their death.
“We fumigate safely and effectively; whatever your location or size of the job.”
Fumigation is a type of pest control that completely fills an area with a gas-like pesticide that suffocates or poisons the pests inside.
Our team of
specially qualified exterminators is ready for dispatch. We use non-hazardous
products to fumigate your premises – no matter how big or small the area. Our
safety precautions guarantee that we are the most reliable exterminators. We
will advise you on the correct precautions to take in order to reduce the risk
of pests, making themselves comfortable in your building.
Feel free to ask us any questions.
What is the difference between fumigation and spraying?
During fumigation, the entire area is sealed off, and a fumigant (lethal gas) is pumped into the area to exterminate all pests. The area being fumigated is enclosed in one of two ways:
1. Covering the building with a vinyl-coated tent or 2. Sealing the area off with plastic and tape.
During fumigation, the chemicals penetrate the entire area, leaving no pests alive.
Spraying is usually a preventative measure. It kills existing pests using different chemicals from fumigation. Pests only die if they come into direct contact with the spray.
The longer you delay, the more you are exposing people to health risks associated with the pests that inhabit your buildings.
If you’re not sure which pest control solution is right for your situation, a pest control specialist from Pinnacle Hygiene and Pest Control will be able to advise you on the best option. Call us for a free assessment before you risk taking things into your own hands.
3. Pest Control
“Preventative pest-control is the best way to protect your building from harm.”
What is a pest?
A pest is any animal or plant harmful to humans or human concerns, including livestock, crops and forestry. The term is also used to describe organisms that cause annoyance, such as in the home or other building. In its broadest sense, a pest is a competitor of humanity.

Did you know?
Facts about cockroaches:
If the thought of cockroaches makes your skin crawl, you are not alone; these creatures are linked to dirt and filth. Because of their supple exoskeletons, cockroaches can squeeze through cracks. The smallest hole can contain any number of roaches. They are also associated with the spread of germs and disease. Studies have shown that the faeces, saliva and shed body parts of cockroaches are linked to asthma and other allergies. They are scavengers, which means they go out and collect food; this means they go wherever the food is. If they can’t find any, they continue looking until they do. Unfortunately, this brings them into your office, factory, warehouse or home. This can have adverse effects on the health of anyone occupying the building that the cockroaches infest.
Facts about ants:
Ants are not counted as dangerous pests, but they do cause damage to lawns and gardens. These insects settle in large colonies, building complex labyrinths at grass root levels. Controlling ants in lawns starts with knowing these insect’s soil preferences. It takes a rigorous amount of effort to terminate their nests. Spot control is the most efficient way to control ants as they tend to gather in small areas. Spot application limits the chemical area, lessening harm to beneficial insects who also call the garden home. Ants are more of a blessing than a curse, so contemplate the seriousness of the situation before you resort to chemical usage.
Facts about rats:
Exterminating rodents only provides short term population control. Sustainable control will only be attained by reducing the rodent carrying capability of the environment by reducing food and harbourage.
Poison should only be used as a last resort after non-toxic, and less-toxic methods have been tried, and only if a significant problem exists, that is a menace to human health.
We recommend that rodent control procedures are used in this order:
1. Remove access to food and harbourage
2. Encourage natural predators
3. Encourage domestic predators
4. Live traps and relocation
5. Instant-kill traps
7. Rat Poison
Please be aware – using poison in an uncontrolled way results in secondary poisoning to other animals; particularly cats, dogs and owls.
Help – There are Pests in the Building
It is unavoidable that pests will occupy buildings from time to time. Some pests are not likely to be of any great concern, especially in small numbers, but others can pose a severe problem.
Complications resulting from pests in buildings can include:
- Deterioration of the structure (termites destroying wood, rodents making holes).
- Persons developing allergies (allergies to pests such rats, cockroaches and dust mites are common).
- Pests can bring in and spread diseases (rodents, flies).
- Insect bites (mosquitos, spiders, fleas, etc.).
Hygiene maintenance is an important deterrent to many types of pests. Pests enter a building in search of food, and they will stay if they find it.
4. Lawn Care
“Enjoy a lush, green and healthy lawn with our comprehensive Lawn Care Service.”
We have specialised herbicides to control weeds.
We control insects found in lawns such as ants, termites, crickets, mole crickets and caterpillars.
We control fungicidal infections.
Our Environmental Impact
Environmentally Friendly Products
By using environmentally friendly cleaning products, we minimise harmful toxins in your office, workshop, factory, warehouse, and home. The environment, therefore, benefits from the decrease in chemicals that are pumped into our water and air daily. Many people, particularly children and the aged, are vulnerable to toxic chemicals that are used in most cleaning products.
We want to offer the best in cleaning, hygiene and pest control services but not at the expense of our environment. Therefore, we offer environmentally friendly alternatives to all chemicals and soaps, plus we use bio-degradable Sani-bin liners and natural bacteria-based sanitizers.
Professional pest control for a happy, healthier environment.
Unless you are fond of creepy-crawlies (and I don’t think many people are), you may not want to coexist with a multitude of pesky bugs. If you would rather live without them in your space, it may not be a good idea to tackle any pest infestation yourself; this could be dangerous because of the chemicals that are involved.
To be safe, call on the professionals – after all – this is what we are trained to do. We provide a wide range of treatment solutions and also offer regular maintenance and prevention contracts for corporate clients, commercial business owners and landlords.
“We believe in delivering a service that is professional, effective, and above all else, value for money.”
Pinnacle Hygiene and Pest Control Services is HACCP Compliant
HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) is the internationally recognised structured operating method that helps organisations in the food and beverage industry identify their food safety risks, prevent food safety hazards and address legal compliance. HACCP is mandatory in several countries, including the US and the EU. The Codex Alimentarius Commission has adopted principles and guidelines for HACCP application. The HACCP system is science-based and identifies specific hazards and measures for their control to ensure the safety of food.
Who Can Use HACCP?
HACCP is used at all stages of food production and preparation processes. All organisations who play a role in the food supply chain can apply HACCP principles, irrespective of their size or geographical location. Why is HACCP important to your organisation? A structured approach to food safety using HACCP as a management tool helps companies and organisations demonstrate their stakeholder commitment to food safety and that stated requirements are being met. HACCP is designed to deliver:
- Commitment; taking a formalised approach to assuring food safety helps you demonstrate your commitment to stakeholders by meeting the demands of legislation.
- Trust; customers and stakeholders will see that you take a serious and managed approach to food safety.
- Competitive advantage; HACCP is a key differentiator, and it can help you to become a supplier of choice.
- Improved efficiencies; HACCP system assessment services can be provided to complement your existing ISO 9000 approvals, saving you both time and money.
Is DIY Pest Control a good idea?
We’re not saying you can’t use ant traps, mosquito repellent or bug spray, but when the pest problem gets out of hand, we would advise you to call on the specialists.
Three concerns when attempting DIY pest control.
1. Health and Safety
Chemical pest control is harmful to humans, especially those who have breathing problems such as asthma, or those who have a sensitivity to chemicals. Children, the elderly and pets are susceptible to harm.
Breathing problems and headaches are some of the minor side-effects of chemical exposure. More severe diseases that are the cause of chemical exposure include nervous system malfunction, reproductive complications, and possibly cancer.
2. Environmental Risks
Without proper expertise, you may cause damage to the environment when you attempt DIY pest control. It is all too easy to blend chemicals in a way that will harm the environment. The wellbeing of the soil, micro-ecosystems that exist in your area, seepage into the underground water table, and runoff into the sewerage system may all be at risk with DIY pest control.
3. Cost Effectiveness
Hiring a professional may seem more expensive, but adding one product to another and trying, again and again, can add up in the long run. A professional pest control specialist will give you a quote and tell you in advance how many treatments are necessary. In addition, hiring a professional means that most of the risk rests with the pest control company. Specialists have knowledge of chemicals that are harmful to people, pets, and plants in more depth than the instructions on a DIY box cannot offer.
When is a Pest a Problem?
Every building will experience a pest problem from time to time. Whether at your home or your place of work, pests may move in seasonally. The extent of their stay will fluctuate depending on the location of your building and the proximity of food sources or rubbish bins. Pests are seasonal, for example, ants tend to come out when it’s hotter, and rat problems are worse in colder weather. Whatever the case may be, you can depend on Pinnacle Hygiene and Pest Control Services to offer the best treatment and advice without breaking the bank.
Maintaining a clean home and office environment will go a long way in keeping pests at bay.
